Artwork Preparation
IN-HOUSE DESIGN
Our highly trained designers will work with you to design a customized solution for you using the Industry Standard Graphic Design and Signage tools like Adobe™ Creative Suite™ and SignLab™.
Tell us your objectives and design preferences. Then send us a written brief or sketch containing what you would like to say, your web address, company logo and any photos or digital files you want in your design.
- We'll send you a design estimate.
- We'll create a design and send you a PDF for proofing.
- You make all the amendments.
- We redesign the artwork to your approval before any production.

SENDING US YOUR FILE
Your own designer can design your artwork if you so choose or if you already have the artwork then send it to us by calling us on 020 8556 6400 or use the upload tool here.
FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES
- Proof your artwork for spelling and grammatical errors. Ensure your colours and photos are correct.Proofs are usually printed on an inkjet or laser printer and therefore can't be considered ideal for colour matching.
- We will ensure your artwork is checked for colour matching prior to printing. If we can't achieve the right match we will call you to finalise this. We always use PANTONE™ colours. However PANTONE™ colours may not rightly match some CMYK inks. Our printers use 4 to 8 inks. Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, Light Magenta, Light Cyan, Light Yellow and (in some cases) Orange. These may help compensate, but we can only guarantee that we will print what is offered on disk.
- Your artwork must be the correct one and must meet our specifications. See "Preparing Your Artwork." We won't be held responsible for errors resulting from artwork supplied and in such cases reserve the right to charge for any remedial work prior to printing.
PREPARING YOUR ARTWORK
Compugrafix® accepts both Mac® and PC files and so does our state-of-the-art sign printing technology.
Artwork supplied using the following design packages Adobe® Photoshop®, Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® Indesign CS#® are welcome.
If you supply artwork not created by the afore mentioned please send the file to us as a High Resolution PDF or EPS file.
Supply a laser print proof along with any imported scans, logos, fonts (outline text otherwise before saving). Your laser print proof should include any necessary sizes, scales, software and relevant information. Call for assistance if in doubt on 020 8856 6400.
